Following our discussion, I've been thinking about how to create a structure for AMEP that fits into the overall research plan.
I'd like to propose using Dawson's model of distributed innovation (see below). I've attached the chapter from Living Networks which describes it.

1. Design processes to match the type of innovation required
2. Create structures to access and coordinate top global talent
3. Provide a share in the value created
4. Negotiate based on differing objectives, risk appetite, and power
5. Be open throughout the process
