Personally i find wikis very hard to use and not great for promoting social networking (but good for sharing documents). I think MA should set up a ning site like this - or else set up a group on this site then you can use it to share info, events and talk about things. Peter Rout (ANMM) who is chair of the MA's Martime group set up a site similar toi this which he uses to communicate as well as a private area for Board minutes etc. Might be worth chatting to him - he's a members of this site too. You could also post a discussion topic ands see what others on this site think - they may have better ideas than me.
