Try Jennifer Caleshu at the Bay Area Discovery Museum, just outside San Francisco. She is incredibly savvy when it comes to social media and using it to promote the museum. jcaleshu (at) badm.org.
Agree that the IMA are terrific. Also try Shelley Bernstein at the Brooklyn. Her mw2008 paper about their web 2.0 stuff is a good summary of their work to date. You can contact her via Twitter @brooklynmuseum - she's great at responding that way.

The Indianapolis Museum of Art is doing great things in creating video content and social media for their museum and has made a sort of museum video aggregator/social network with their new program Artbabble.
