Hi, Gillian, I am still interested in your writing for Exhibitionist. I hope you can do this. Here are deadlines. Our articles can be as long as about 2500 words or as short as 1000. My email adress is gretchenjennings@rcn.com

Hi, Gillian, I am taking you up on your offer to write about intro films (see also the suggestion from Jason Adair below). Can you send me, off list, an abstract based on what you wrote above? If there is a way you can generalize a bit or give other…
The biggest museum in our system is located on the ground floor of a courthouse. Whenever we install a new exhibit, we make a short, silent, video and project it onto the floor right inside the front door. We get a lot of people coming into the muse…
Hello Gretchen,
A couple of years ago, a major international art exhibition here in Australia had an introductory video about the artist. Our summative evaluation showed that only a very small proportion stopped to watch the film, for two reasons.…
Hello all, for the Spring 2010 issue of "Exhibitionist," the exhibitions journal that I edit (www.name-aam.org), we want to look at issues that come up over and over again in deveoping and designing exhibitions - like should we do an intro film? are…
This group discuss issues related to museums and the use of new technologies. Doctoral students from different fields gather together to share their interests and points of view.
I edit a museum journal, "Exhibitionist" for NAME, the National Association for Museum Exhibition. Although I am retired from full time work, being an editor keeps me involved in current museum issues and in touch with museum colleagues.

This is about a revolution in museum, culture, education ...

The system is fully operational. It has been tested in real condition for more than one years. A demo will take place in the Museum of Art et Métiers in Paris
Thanks! and glad to get to know you. However, I am a curator who doesn't do exhibitions, and neither does the Pitt Rivers Museum, really--if you haven't been here, do check out our website! My work is very much 'back of house' in the research room. I really don't feel qualified to talk about exhibitions and links with source communities, and would encourage you to contact someone at the Museum of Anthropology, UBC, or Glenbow in Calgary where they have a LOT more expertise! Happy to share emails if this interests you.
