You said it, Lynda. It's not about platform, it's about content, something that museum's have plenty of! UMNH's Trailhead to Utah (TM) project is essentially a way for visitors to personalize their museum visit and then extend that visit as they ...

Would I be able to get a copy of your strategy? The Nova Scotia Museum is starting to work on our online strategy and any existing document would be a great asset. Best, Victoria

I am interested in the ongoing capacity for innovation and change within the medium his work is focussed on the nexus between creative production and exhibition, and the development of education pedagogy that makes sense of this ever changing medium. I have worked as an artist, academic, educational consultant and in commercial interactive design. Hi Brett
Lynda just sent this - thought you might be interested

A message to all members of Classroom 2.0

Several members of Classroom 2.0 have emailed me noting that the network reached 15,000 members this weekend. What a blast! I'm so glad the network continues to grow, and encourage you to vote at the 2009 Edublog Awards site for Classroom 2.0 or one of the other networks listed there for "Best Educational Use of Social Networking Service." Go to http://edublogawards.com/2008/best-educational-use-of-a-social-networking-service/.

Ning will be having an upgrade this week that allows for better searching of members based on their profile questions. Look for it, as I think it will greatly enhance the ability for your network members to connect. I'm very excited for the impact this should have on Classroom 2.0 and your ability to find new colleagues based on interests or geography.

I've also created a new search site at http://www.conversations.net that allows you to search across ALL public Ning networks and other conversation-oriented sites for specific content. I wanted a way to find other networks where conversations of interest are taking place. And since I'm part of all kinds of networks, I also wanted a way to find something that I read but couldn't remember who wrote it, and whether it was in their blog or on Twitter or in a Ning network!

Please give the site a try and then give me feedback.

P.S. Ning in Education (http://education.ning.com) just hit 3,000 members... another milestone at almost the exact same time! Be sure to join us there if you're using (or want to be) Ning in an education context.

Hey Brett -- I didn't even realise that you were a member of this network! I should have guessed but. You always have your finger on the pulse.

Any chance of squeezing a research paper out of you??? I'm currently establishing a new journal 'Second Nature' for rmit http://secondnature.rmit.edu.au and would love to paticulary like a paper that looks at multiliteracies... My email at rmit is shiralee.saul@rmit.edu.au

Also, if you have the time and the inclination, I'd be thrilled if you joined the social museum Curiosity Cabinet, that Gillian and I have been working on for the last year or 2. We're STILL building, but are inviting a small beta community -- and I'd really appreciate any feedback you might give... http://curiositycabi.net

Hope everything is still going fabulously in your world -- cheers, Shiralee
