I enjoyed being involved in Rhondda Lives, mostly in the early stages. Katrina Kirkwood deserves praise for the fantastic work she did with Valleys Kids in developing the form. She outlines the rationale behind the project on her site and there's a description of how the stories were made.

It's great to see a melding of existing public archive with personal storytelling by members of the communities depicted in the archive.
